Confident Communicators is a personal development programme encompassing presentation and communication skills designed to work with every module of the Curriculum For Excellence. It allows young people to access different learning styles and activities whilst developing their social and personal awareness and helps transition to the world of work.
Aimed at pupils from 3-18 years in Primary, Secondary, A.S.N and Further Education, its progressive methodology ensures a fit with the curriculum giving measurable growth and positive impact at every level. It is also of great benefit for those engaged in More Choices, More Chances.
“The pupils I have mentored and supported through Confident Communicators have developed in confidence and, consequently, in expectation and behaviour.
My S5/6 group were not all academically able, but all have attained above the expectations placed upon them. They are now engaged in cross curricular work in school, working with other pupils and teachers on shared learning outcomes. They are demonstrating a more shared and sustained sense of purpose in school and community, including involvement with Primary schools and adult literacy agencies, the School Council, the School Charities ‘Commission’ and Parents and Pupils extracurricular activities.
